>Look for the obvious, signs in windows or stores, and note ‘se alquila’ means ‘for rent’.

>Check to see if there are any specials. For instance, if your apartment is running a special deal like offering one month free rent if you move in before a certain date.

>See if there is flexibility in the monthly fee. For instance, you may negotiate doing some chores or odd jobs for lesser rent, etc.

>Check to see if pets are allowed. You may have a pet that you would like to take with you or you may have a preference to a no pet polic
