Tropical Weather Pattern

Most expats enjoy this country’s mild tropical climate and this is one reason it is very popular especially among retirees, who are renting and investing in Panama property more than anywhere else in the world. Because of its proximity to the equator, even mountain ranges are temperate. However, Panama’s rugged topography, narrow land mass, and proximity to two oceans, there is a variation in the weather patterns from one town to the next. These changing climates contribute to the amazing number of plant, bird and animal species found in the country, which are to be admired by all.
