Contadora

Contadora is the fifth largest of the Pearl Islands and is located in the Pacific Ocean about 50 miles from Panama City. It can be reached by boat in approximately two hours and by propeller plane in 20 minutes. Over 57 splendorous coral white, ebony black and radiant gold beaches and coves surround San Jose Island, embedded between the temperate and calm turquoise and blue waters of the Gulf of Panama, and the lush green vegetation that covers the whole island over gently sloping hills which peak, at the north of the island, to 440 feet. The San Blas Archipelago

The San Blas Archipelago are strung out along the Caribbean coast of Panama from the Golfo de San Blas nearly all the way to the Colombian border. The San Blas archipelago is composed of approximately 100 nameless islets, 113 with names, and of them nearly 30 islands are entirely made of corals. Its palm-lined beaches, coral-ringed islands and jungle-cloaked mountains make San Blas look a lot like paradise.

Coiba

Although there are hundreds of islands near the Panamanian coasts and in the two major archipelagos of San Blas and Bocas del Toro in the Caribbean Sea, some of the best snorkeling, scuba diving and deep-sea fishing are to be found in the Pacific’s protected waters beside Panama’s Coiba Island.
