Hotel Punta Galeon Resort Isla Contadora

During our vacation in Panama we were lucky enough to stay at the Hotel Punta Galeon Resort in Isla Contadora. This is the ultimate Panama Resort is on one of the many Pearl Islands off the coast of Panama in the Pacific Ocean. The Island was gorgeous, very exotic!

In reviewing this panama hotel, I’d give it a 4 Star. We had a great time—our room was facing the beautiful ocean—the scenic view was beautiful and while sitting on our deck enjoying the great breezes we took in the beautiful views of many of the Pearl islands. This was so relaxing and calming—the waters were so blue and sparkling. The rooms were clean and the maid service was fine. In fact, the entire staff was very polite and accommodating. The hotel had 48 Ocean View Rooms with all the basics: air conditioning, hot water, mini bar, and room service—just what one would expect. However, the décor is something else—it looks like a throw-back to the seventies and could use some up-dating, but because of the splendor of the Isla Contadora this sort of balanced things out for us.

We spent a couple of days doing nothing but going to the beach and relaxing on the white sand and swimming in the warm blue water. Friends of ours went snorkeling and had a great time. You can snorkel on all of the beaches in the island and some are better than others, but this was ample.

This place was just what we were looking for—gorgeous, relaxing and fun. We certainly will return in the near future!
