Hotel Contadora Panama

During our five day stay at the Hotel Contadora Panama, which is located in Isla Contadora, approximately 20 minutes by flight from Panama City, we had a great time.

This Panama hotel offers 250 rooms that are fully equipped with all the basics such as air conditioning, cable television, refrigerators, hot water, telephone, bath, etc. We were lucky we had a room facing the gorgeous ocean and as we lay in our hammocks on the balcony the view was phenomenal. Our room was clean and the maid service was excellent. In fact, the entire staff was really very nice and efficient.

However, the main reason we were there was the beaches. We had heard from friends who previously visited the island that the beaches were pristine and not crowded. The blue waters were truly magnificent. It seemed like paradise having the beach all to ourselves and the water was ideal for swimming.

This place is so comfortable and relaxing and that is exactly what we did. If you are looking to party—look elsewhere this is not the place for you. The whole aura of this place is calming and relaxing. As a bonus, this hotel offers the best food on the island. Lots of fish dishes and the waiters were extremely friendly.

Although we didn’t do it ourselves, lots of the guest went jet skiing all around the islands and some went snorkeling they said the tropical fish was something else.

We also enjoyed the wildlife and believe it or not some of the deer traveled around the resort and even let us pat them. Even the monkeys were friendly and we fed them bananas.

This was a great vacation and we would highly recommend this to our friends.
