Royal Decameron Beach Resort & Casino Review

It was our first trip to Panama and we didn’t know what to expect. Our son relocated in Panama and we decided to see what it was about this country that kept him there. He suggested we stay at the Royal Decameron Beach Resort & Casino. This panama hotel is located in a great area known as Playa Blanca, Farallon, which was about an hour and a half away from Panamas International Airport which was kind of a long ride, but we enjoyed the sights along the way.

When we arrived, we were amazed to see such beauty, although, the climate was very hot for us because we are used to four seasons and our summers are not usually very hot, but the hotel had air conditioning and that was great. The hotel was situated on what seemed like miles of an inviting white sandy beach on the Pacific Ocean. The aqua blue water was so clean and sparkling not like many of the beaches we see at home. When we weren’t relaxing on the beach my husband was thrilled to play golf while I relaxed poolside with some friends I made. There are three snack bars, three beach bars and two poolside bars.

There were several restaurants to choose from to dine, so we ate at a different restaurant each night. After dinner we enjoyed what was called, “nightly shows” and other nights we played at the casino. This is a great Panama hotel and we would rate it a 4 Star and we have already booked another trip. We had such a great time—fantastic experience. We love Panama and can understand why our son chose this place to live in.
