Popa Paradise Hotel in Bocas Del Toro

A group of us went to Boca del Toro, Panama and stayed at the Popa Paradise Hotel which came highly recommended to us by mutual friends. So it was no surprise to us, what a great place this was. The place exuded comfort and the rates were reasonable.

The staff was extremely friendly and very attentive, no matter how small your need, they would happily assist you. The rooms were exceptionally clean with lots of basic amenities. The restaurant was a big hit with our group. We all love to eat and when back in the states we go out once a week to a different spot each time, so we pride ourselves with knowing good food and this hotel serves good food! The chefs were very creative and served exciting and exotic dishes that were scrumptious. We particularly loved the exotic fish dishes. We all agree that we sampled some of the best menus ever.

In reviewing this Panama hotel we would give it a 4 Star rating. The grounds and the island are so beautiful. We loved hanging out on the beach or poolside when the weather permitted. We went during the dry season in February, so we had lots of good days, however we did experience a bit of rain. Some of us were up to an excursion trip which was a great experience—be sure to take the trip to the Zapatillas for idyllic white Caribbean beach and crystal clear water and be sure to take a camera.

We enjoyed our beautiful stay at the Bocas and we would recommend this trip to others.
